Overview
Soufrière also called "La Veille Dame" is in fact a relatively young volcano located in the French West Indies; in Guadeloupe. Its highest peak in the Lesser Antilles peaks at 1467 meters. Saint-Claude, the highest town in the Lesser Antilles, is the commune through which access to the “Vielle Dame” is the easiest. On the town grounds, on the slopes of Soufrière, there are baths with hot sulfur water (Les Bains Jaunes) in which you can bathe and relax. But with the restriction of not plunging your head underwater or you risk being confronted with amoebae. Thus, the main theme and the main character which is Soufrière, seen "at 360°" or almost. On this "Shooting tour" we will make various stops which will allow you to relax and take photos of the Souffrière massif which goes from the oldest in the commune of Sainte-(Rose to the southern tip of the island of Basse -land, passing through the slopes of Soufrière via the town of Saint-Claude.
